Obituary: Roger Jacob Young

Roger Jacob Young, 71, of Egg Harbor, formerly of Chicago, died peacefully on Feb. 5, 2017. He was born Dec. 18, 1945, in Chicago to Clarence and Marie Anne Young. He is survived by his wife Norma Young, son Roger Young, stepson David Beall and stepdaughter Marissa Albarran. He was an active member of Community Church of Fish Creek and a member of VFW Post # 8337 in Ellison Bay. He had been in the United States Marine Corps and bravely fought in Vietnam. His infectious smile, laughter and ability to make people feel at ease will be missed. Memorial services will be held Feb. 25, 2017, at 10 am at Armitage Baptist Church, Chicago, and March 4, 11 am, at Community Church of Fish Creek.
