Obituary: Sandra M. Greaves

October 31, 1942~May 5, 2022

Sandra M. Greaves, 79, Green Bay, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 5, 2022.  She was born October 31, 1942 in Sturgeon Bay to Norman and Marie (Tenor) Knutson.  She married Arthur Greaves on August 15, 1964 at Corpus Christi Church in Sturgeon Bay.

Sandy worked as a medical assistant and as a lab technician at Webster Clinic retiring in 2010 from Prevea.  She was an active member of St. Jude Parish and was a Eucharistic Minister and volunteer at St. Patrick’s Pantry.  She and her husband Art loved going camping, playing sheepshead, and traveling with their close friends. Sandy loved spending time with her family and making all gatherings special.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Julie and Dan Wieberdink and Shawn and Julie Greaves; grandchildren, Nicholas and Brandon Wieberdink and Linnea and Leif Greaves.  She is further survived by her siblings, Nancy (Larry) Maples, Judy (Tom) Leonhardt, Jerry (Mo) Knutson, Sam (Ann) Knutson; brother-in-law Doug Greaves; sister-in-law, Sonia Roen, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Marie Knutson; her husband, Art; parents-in-law, Donald and Margaret Greaves a special aunt, Pearl Maccoux; brothers-in law, Donnie Greaves and Dick Greaves.

Friends may call at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division St., from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10  followed by a Parish Wake Service at 6:30 p.m. Services will continue at St. Jude on Wednesday May 11 at 9:30 to 11 a.m. followed with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. Entombment will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park Mausoleum.
