Obituary: Shawn LeCloux

Shawn LeCloux, 26, of Forestville, passed away at home on May 26, 2016.  He was born July 10, 1989 in Sturgeon Bay to Allen and Paula (Lardinois) LeCloux.  After high school, Shawn worked as a steel fitter at Bay Ship.  He was currently employed by Exact Tech in Sturgeon Bay.

Shawn’s number one passion in his life was paintball competition.  He was very active in the Fremont paintball league and enjoyed traveling around the state and country for competitions.  He loved his paint ball team, Midwest Whiteout and had served as captain for several years.  He also loved his dogs, Louie and Salem.

Survivors include his parents, Allen LeCloux, Forestville and Paula (Roy) Tabordon, Sturgeon Bay; brother Scott LeCloux, Forestville; two sisters, Beth (Jared) Hanson, Kaukauna; and Laura LeCloux, Maplewood;  grandmothers, Evelyn LeCloux, Maplewood and Donna Lardinois, Brussels; a niece, Nicole; 4 nephews, Alex, Vincent, Evan and Donald; fiancé, Heidi Hill; god- parents, Phil Lardinois and JoAnn DuBois; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Don Lardinois and Leonard LeCloux, aunt and uncle Peggy and Al Wautier.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 30, 2016 at Holy Name of Mary Church in Maplewood.  Burial will be in the Forestville Town Cemetery.
