Obituary: Stephen Ray Couveau

October 12, 1955 – April 26, 2023

Stephen Ray Couveau, 67, of Sturgeon Bay and Marinette, died peacefully at Aurora BayCare Medical Center on hospice care. He was born in Milwaukee to Cornelius and Jeanne Couveau.

Steve served in the United States Marines in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar, and gardening. He was a caring soul always thinking about others, especially his fiancé, Julie.

He is survived by his fiancé Julie Nelson and her three kids, Robbie, Rachel, and Alysha, his three kids, Erica, Dion, Steve II, a very special niece, Renee, his two grandkids, Destiny, Nevaeh, and Julie’s grandkids, Owen and Evelyn. He was excited for one more grandkid in August of 2023. Preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sharon.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Sunday, May 21st 1 – 4 PM at the Mill Supper Club.
