Obituary: Susan A. Heinz

Susan A. Heinz, 69, of Sturgeon Bay, was called home Tuesday morning, December 27, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

She was born August 5, 1947 in Milwaukee the daughter of the late Chester and Alvina (Szymanski) Paprocki. Sue graduated from Notre Dame High School in Milwaukee class of 1965.

For many years Sue provided in home care for the elderly and disabled. She was a kind, big-hearted, generous, and compassionate lady who was well suited for her calling in life to help individuals, and couples stay in their home with her assisting care. But above all was her life lived as a committed, born again Christian whose love of family, especially her grandchildren, were most important to Sue.

Survivors include her two children and their families, daughter, Sharon (David) Tupa of Egg Harbor and their children, Acacia and Talia, son, John (Lori) Heinz of Pulaski and their children, Jack, Owen, Lucas and Ella; her sister, Katherine Dreyer of Milwaukee; and brother, Mike (Rose) Paprocki of West Allis.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Kevin Hronek, RN, and the entire staff at St. Vincent ICU for their compassionate care.

A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday (January 2, 2017) at Huehns Funeral Home with Rev. Shannon Souther officiating.

Friends may call on Monday at Huehns Funeral Home from 10 am until the time of services at noon.
