Obituary: Sylvia Bertha Zahn

Sylvia Bertha Zahn of Baileys Harbor, age 91, passed away on December 12, 2017. Born on March 10, 1926 in Sevastopol on the family farm. Daughter of Henry Schwartz and Elsie Schultz Schwartz. Sylvia was a homemaker. After her husband passed away she worked at the Baileys Harbor Laundry. She retired when her first grandchild was born to babysit her. She liked gardening, her flower gardens and liked playing cards at home with family and at the Baileys Harbor meal site with her friends. She liked family gatherings and spending time with family.

Sylvia is survived by a son, Randy (Dolly), two granddaughters, Amanda Zahn and Ashley Zahn. A sister, Arline Jorns and sister-in-law, Pat Schwartz and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton (1979), brother, Edwin Schwartz, brother-in-law, Edgar Jorns, sister-in-law, Millie (George) Lindal, and brother-in-law, Edward (Elaine) Zahn.
