Obituary: Teresa Ann Tesnow-Nemeth

In loving memory of Teresa Ann Tesnow-Nemeth. Beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and aunt. Teresa died Dec. 2, 2016 soundly in her sleep at the age of 52.

Teresa was born Feb. 18, 1964, in the town of Sister Bay, WI, the daughter of Donald and Dorothy (Grasse) Tesnow.  Teresa graduated from Gibraltar High School in 1982. She attended Nursing School for a while and worked as a nurse’s aide for several years at Scandinavian Nursing Home and loved caring for her patients and was loved by the residents and staff. She spent most of her life as a homemaker.

Teresa enjoyed watching movies, and the Packers on Sundays, she loved all animals, including her cat Lilly and all things tropical.  Most of all, she had a thirst for God, family, and friends.  No matter the situation she was always able to love with all of her being, you could see and feel that anytime you spoke with or met with her. Her love truly knew no bounds, and she will be dearly missed.

Teresa is survived by, her loving father, Donald W Tesnow of Ellison Bay; her Grandmother, Grace Grasse of North Carolina; her Children, Shawn (Laura) Nemeth of Watertown, Austin Nemeth of Sturgeon Bay, Collin Nemeth of Watertown, and Brittany Nemeth of Sturgeon Bay; her grandchildren, Nathan Nemeth & Megan Nemeth of Watertown; her Siblings, Todd (Tanna) Tesnow of Ellison Bay, James (Gina) Tesnow of Wisconsin Rapids, Leanne Olson-Tesnow of Hudson; her Nieces and Nephews, Verena Tesnow, Adela Tesnow, Todd Tesnow Jr., Emma Tesnow, and Kori Koehler.

A very special thanks to all medical personnel who have taken care of Teresa at Door County Memorial Hospital, Bellin Hospital of Green Bay, St. Vincent Hospital of Green Bay and the Dorchester of Sturgeon Bay as well as the paramedic teams. To Celebrate Teresa’s life a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00 am at Family Worship Center, 1715 Michigan St. Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235, with a luncheon to follow.  Forbes Funeral Home is assisting the family.
