Obituary: Thomas J. Bee

July 6, 1959 ~ June 7, 2020

Thomas James Bee 60, of Sturgeon Bay, WI died at 3:45 AM CDT Sunday June 7, 2020 at Sturgeon Bay Health Services in Sturgeon Bay, WI.  He was born July 6, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois the son of late Richard “Tex” and Kathryn Bee.

He is also preceded in death by daughter Baby Jessica Bee.

Survivors include his children: Brandon Bee of Cayuga, Indiana, Thomas Bee of Cayuga, Indiana, Emily (Brady) Hays of Perrysville, Indiana, and Timothy Wesley-Bee of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin; Stepson Danny LaVelle of Fox Lake, Illinois. Siblings: Gail Violet of Hillsboro, Indiana, Victoria Bee of Palos Hills, Illinois, Julia (Fred) Chow of Honolulu, Hawaii and Richard (Buzz) (Barb) Bee of Oak Lawn, Illinois. Granddaughter: Cameron Bee of Terre Haute, Indiana and Grandson Brian Daniel LeVelle and Daniel Jax LaVelle both of Fox Lake, Illinois. Also, grandpuppy Bridgett. Also, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and very good friends from all over.

Thomas was currently employed at Stone Harbor Resorts as maintenance and previously worked as a CNA at Sturgeon Bay Health Service. He served in the 82nd Airborne Army, Corhort 3 as a paratrooper from 1983 to 1987. While being a paratrooper he was stationed at Fort Bragg and completed a tour of duty in Italy. He was a member of the American Legion Post #263. Tom was a Lake View High School graduate and a member of the Hermitage Hotdogs. Tom loved being with his family and especially his children. He enjoyed golfing, kayaking, fishing, and putting a smile on anybody and everybody’s face no matter what and he had a joke for everybody. He also loved spending time with his friends around the fire or in a bar was special to him. He loved many and was loved by so many more. He never knew a stranger and would pick up any hitch hiker.

There will be a Celebration of Life and Military salute on Sunday July 19, 2020 at 2PM EST at the Cayuga American Legion post 263 in Cayuga, Indiana 922 W Ferry St, Cayuga, IN 47928.
