Obituary: Timothy Lee Keller

July 26, 1970 – Oct. 5, 2019

Tim Keller, 49, of Appleton and formerly of Sturgeon Bay, died suddenly at his home in Appleton of natural causes.

He was born in Sturgeon Bay, the son of Gary and Kathy (Haen) Keller. Tim graduated from Sevastopol High School in 1989 before attending culinary school at Fox Valley Technical School. He has worked as a cook in the Appleton area for many years. For the last 18 years, he was employed with Schlotzky’s Deli in Appleton.

Tim was a loyal sports fan who enjoyed following the Packers, Brewers and Badgers. He was a true foodie, but more than that, he was a kind, loving and caring person to those who knew him. Tim enjoyed spending time with his family.

Family who are mourning his loss include his mother, Kathy of Sturgeon Bay; brother, Jim Keller of Sturgeon Bay (and his son, Zachary James Keller); and his sister, Kimberly Keller of Green Bay.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Keller; paternal grandparents, Al and Florence (Renier) Keller; Clarence and Lillian (Fleming) Haen.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sturgeon Bay, with Fr. Ron Colombo officiating. Friends may call at the church Oct. 9, 10-11 am.

Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay and Door County Crematory are assisting the Keller family. Expressions of sympathy, memories and photos of Tim can be shared through his tribute page at huehnsfuneralhome.com.
