Obituary: Victoria “Vicky” A. (Charnetski) Daubner

August 6, 1957 ~ April 7, 2021

Vicky A. Daubner, 63 years, of New Franken, died Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born August 6, 1957 in Sturgeon Bay, the daughter of Kenneth and Beatrice (Hugenroth) Charnetski. Vicky graduated from Gibraltar High School in 1975. On May 22, 1976 she married Duaine G. Daubner in Sister Bay. He preceded her in death on December 18, 2017. She was employed with Green Bay Public Schools for 25 years until her health prevented her working seven years ago.

Vicky was a positive, patient lady. She loved collecting rooster and chicken collectibles, shopping for treasures at Goodwill stores, creating arts and crafts, crocheting rugs, and making bracelets. She was able to travel, take cruises, visit Las Vegas with family, a highlight in her life. She was willing to teach others in crafting skills and always available to lend a hand to those in need.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda (fiancé, Shawn Moore) Terrien of Green Bay; dear friend, Daniel “Bruno” Swenson of Sister Bay; her parents, Ken and Beatrice Charnetski of Sister Bay; sister, Lisa Dorow of Green Bay; nieces, Sierra Dorow, Alex Dorow, and Kendra Dorow.

Preceding her in death were her sister, Bonny Charnetski; and husband, Duaine.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Stella Maris Parish–Sister Bay site with Fr. Tom Farrell officiating. Burial will be at Little Sister Cemetery alongside her husband, Duaine.

Friends may call at the church Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:15 p.m.

COVID protocols will be followed, capacity limits will be observed, temperature checks taken, hand sanitizer provided. For those unable to attend, the service will be LIVESTREAMED at 1:30 p.m. via the “Casperson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC” Facebook page.
