He worked at Midwest Wire for 20 years as a press operator, a job he loved.

Bill enjoyed all sports, competing, and watching. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and softball with friends, and his sons. Bill played in many Aloha softball tournaments and leagues at Westside Ballfield. For many years, Bill bowled in leagues at Worley’s, Cherry Lanes and Apple Valley Lanes. As the years wore down his physical ability, Bill who enjoyed the social atmosphere as much as competing, enjoyed attending the music and theatrical performances at the area’s many venues. His true musical love was classic country by Haggard, Cash, Twitty, Willy, Haggard and a song favorite was God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood.
