Off the Wheel Pottery is hosting an open house on Thursday, June 19 to celebrate ten successful years of business. The anniversary reception, complete with wine and hors d’oeuvres, is free to the public and will take place from 6 – 9 pm on the Country Road E property.
The open house will feature the debut of Off the Wheel Pottery’s new, expanded gallery space located in a restored barn. Visitors may tour the barn gallery, renovated to facilitate rotating exhibitions of larger artworks, amble through the lawn and garden, visit owner Renne’ Schwaller’s original pottery gallery, a restored granary, and peer inside Schwaller’s active studio, where she creates her pottery.
During the months of June and July, Off the Wheel Pottery’s new gallery will feature work by local and regional artists, including stoneware by Jessie Voss, Nathan Greenwood, and Sara Dudgeon, porcelain by Neil Estrick, jewelry by Angela Lensch, photography by Frances Holt, fiber works by Joan Meiselmann, and paintings by Shan Bryan-Hanson.
Off the Wheel Pottery is located at 4234 County Rd. E. in Egg Harbor, one mile East of the village. Hours are 10 am – 4:30 pm. For more information, visit http://www.offthewheelpottery.com or call 920.868.9608.
