Old Bolts Car Club Presents Unity with Donation

The Old Bolts Car Club of Sturgeon Bay presented Unity, the area’s leading nonprofit provider of hospice, palliative and bereavement care, with a check for $2,000 to benefit Unity’s end-of-life programs. As a 501(c)3, Unity relies on the financial contributions of community members and organizations like Old Bolts Car Club to help cover the end-of-life care costs for under-and uninsured patients, as well as unfunded services, including medication delivery and grief support programs.

Michael Gilson, an Old Bolts Car Club member, presented the check to Unity staff members. “We really are just a group of people who have an interest in old cars and put on a car show to help the [Sturgeon Bay] Harvest Festival. The proceeds we make from the car show are an added bonus since they allow us to do something good for our community,” said Gilson.
