Olde Curiosity Shoppe Reopens in Sturgeon Bay

The Olde Curiosity Shoppe, an antiques and collectibles boutique, has opened at 41 N. Third Ave., located between Michigan and Louisiana Streets in Sturgeon Bay. The shop features vintage mementos, memorabilia, bric-a-brac, nostalgia, keepsakes, artwork and tried-and-true treasures from more than a dozen consignors.

“It’s been my experience that people are more likely to travel to places where antiques and collectibles shops are clustered, than to areas with only one,” said proprietor Bruce Joffe.

Joffe reopened The Olde Curiosity Shoppe in Sturgeon Bay following a year in Egg Harbor’s Main Street Shops. He and partner Russ Warren have more than two decades of experience in antiques and collectibles, having opened, managed and sold large, multi-dealer antiques malls in the Washington D.C. suburbs, Virginia, West Virginia and Florida before moving to Sturgeon Bay.

The Olde Curiosity Shoppe is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

“Prices are really reasonable on truly great finds,” said Joffe.
