Olde Ellison Bay Days Set for June 26 – June 28

Another of Door County’s popular summer festivals, Olde Ellison Bay Days, kicks off on June 26 and continues through June 28.

The events begin on Friday with a talent show and ice-cream social at the Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church at 6:30 pm.

Saturday’s festivities include the annual parade starting at 11 am. The parade begins at Shepherd of the Bay and ends on Garrett Bay Road. Winners of the parade will receive prizes from both the Ellison Bay Service Club and the Door County Visitor Bureau, with a $250 prize for the best float.

Saturday’s festivities also include an arts and crafts show with food booths and a local art display from 10 am – 5 pm at the Ellison Bay Women’s Club Building. The Happy Schnapps Combo will also be on hand to entertain at the Women’s Club Gazebo from 1 – 4 pm.

The arts and food offerings will continue on Sunday, and in the afternoon, Green Bay band Copper Box will perform at the Women’s Club Gazebo from noon – 4 pm.

Free shuttle bus transportation will be offered from 9 am – 5 pm Saturday and Sunday. Pickup is at the parking lot of the Liberty Grove History Society grounds to downtown Ellison Bay.
