On Deck Clothing Company Opens New Sister Bay Location

Mitch Larson, owner of On Deck Clothing Company, is pleased to announce a Grand Opening Celebration for the company’s newest Door County location in downtown Sister Bay. On June 28, 29, 30, all On Deck locations will be celebrating with incredible in store specials and drawings for free gift certificates.

The new location – situated on the corner of Maple and Highway 42 in a building named Village Exchange – houses three separate retail areas. This space has enabled Larson to combine two of his smaller locations, one across from the village marina in Sister Bay and one formerly located in the Main Street Shops in Egg Harbor.

Larson’s Sister Bay expansion is not the first in On Deck Clothing Store’s history. The store, founded in 1987 with its first location in Fish Creek, quickly grew into one of the county’s premier clothiers. In 1997 Mitch renovated that store, restoring the highly visible historic structure. In 2006 Larson tackled another project, the restoration and opening of a Sturgeon Bay On Deck store on the corner of Jefferson Street and Third Avenue.

Drink Coffee, a popular coffee spot, will maintain its location on the south end of the Village Exchange building with On Deck taking over the anchor position on the corner of Maple and Highway 42. To round out this shopping experience, Hudson Road Trading Company, specializing in artisan, gemstone and Celtic jewelry and featuring unique home décor items, is located between the two businesses.
