“Once Upon a Christmas” Features Caroling, Candles and Mrs. Claus

The Noble House in Fish Creek.

The Gibraltar Historical Association presents “Once Upon a Christmas” on Dec. 16 at Noble Square, with events beginning at 6 pm.

“The Fish Creek celebration is for the child in all of us when it comes to the Christmas Season,” said Gibraltar Historical Association President Barbara McKesson.

“Once Upon a Christmas” is a family event that includes a tree-lighting ceremony and joyous old-fashion caroling at Noble Square near historic Noble House.

After the caroling, a candlelight procession will journey to the historic and festively decorated Old Town Hall. Mrs. Claus, with her bag of surprises, will visit the children at the Town Hall, where there will also be refreshments and a light supper.

The tree lighting and caroling is free, but there will be a small charge for the light supper. Supper costs are $4 for adults and $2 for children.

This celebration of the Christmas season is sponsored by the Gibraltar Historical Association and is open to the public.
