One Dead in Southern Door County Car Crash

A 47-year-old man was pronounced dead on Oct. 4 from head injuries he received as a passenger in a one-vehicle rollover on Hwy. 57 north of County D in the Town of Union on Friday, Sept. 30. Manuel Roman of Sturgeon Bay died at a Green Bay hospital. The accident occurred at about 10:25 am on Sept. 30. The driver, Earlene Castelan, 52, of Sturgeon Bay, was treated and released at Ministry Door County Medical Center. The accident remains under investigation by the Door County Sheriff’s Department.
