Open Door Bird Sanctuary Now Open Through August

Open Door Bird Sanctuary is now open for the season and, new this year, they will be open every Saturday from June 24 through Sept. 3 as well as Sunday on both the Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends.

The sanctuary is open from 12-4 pm and features an exciting program at 1 pm with guided trail hikes at 2:30 pm. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy before or after the show and really make an afternoon taking in the amazing resident birds of prey on exhibit, hands-on artifacts as well as the unique landscape.

Open rain or shine. The cost is: $7, adults and $4, kids. Open Door Bird Sanctuary is located at 4114 County I in Jacksonport.
