Open Door Bird Sanctuary is open for the season, and – new this year – will be open every Saturday, June 20 – Sept. 5; plus July 3 and Sept. 6. Submitted.

Open Door Bird Sanctuary is open for the season, and – new this year – will be open every Saturday, June 20 – Sept. 5; plus July 3 and Sept. 6. The sanctuary is open 12-4 pm and offers an exciting program at 1 pm and guided trail hikes at 2:30 pm.

This year, masks will be required in the main gathering areas, but not in the picnic area or on the trails. The 1 pm show will be limited to 50 people. If more than 50 attend the program, some people will be directed to other areas to enjoy, and a second program will take place at 2:30 pm. 

Visitors may take a picnic to enjoy before or after the show. The entrance fee is $8 for adults and $5 for kids.
