Open Door Hosts Inaugural Hoot-e-Nanny

Open Door Bird Sanctuary (ODBS) is embarking on a capital campaign this year to raise funds for the land they are currently leasing. All improvements that have been made to the land are owned by ODBS. Their goal is $130,000 and they already have $5,000. There’s an opportunity to purchase at a 35 percent reduction in price.

To help things along, ODBS is holding their first ever Hoot-e-Nanny on Aug. 25. This will be a folksy, lively and classy dinner event featuring Last Man Standing for musical entertainment. The event is being held at Woodwalk Gallery who is also donating use of the venue. There will be a bucket raffle and a variety of auction items.

So come out for an enjoyable evening at the scenic Woodwalk Gallery and meet some of the ODBS resident raptors in person.

The cocktails and bucket raffle begins at 5:30 pm with dinner from About Thyme Catering at 6:30 pm, voice auction at 7:30 pm, and Last Man Standing from 8 to 10 pm.

For reservations, call 920.629.4877 or email [email protected] by Aug. 20.
