Opportunities to Play Bridge

The Door County Bridge Club will begin its fifth season of duplicate bridge on June 3rd. Sanctioned by the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL), duplicate bridge games will be held every Tuesday at 12 pm and every Friday at 9 am, from the beginning of June through the end of September.

The club meets at the Stella Maris Catholic Church, 7710 Highway 42, Egg Harbor, and hosts tournament-style duplicate contract bridge. Operated by ACBL-sanctioned Certified Director and Life Master Barbara Piester, eligible players receive masterpoints. Special games are planned throughout this summer, which will allow players to earn additional points as well as silver and red points.

Players are encouraged to come with a partner and prior reservations are not required. However, solo players should contact Piester at 920.868.1954 or 920.868.6113 prior to play to arrange for a partner. Cost to play regular weekly games is $7; special games may have a slightly higher cost.
