Orchard Country Introduces New Wine

On July 27 Orchard Country Winery & Market will celebrate the addition of another member to its growing family of estate wines from 10 am – noon.

Named after owner Bob Lautenbach’s granddaughter, Ashlyn Sophia is a dry red wine crafted from oaked Marquette grapes. “I’m proud of our estate-grown grape wine series,” Lautenbach says. “Door County continues to grow as a premier wine destination and to produce excellent wines from fruit grown and harvested on this property is very rewarding.”

Ashlyn Sophia will also introduce a new wine label style for the estate-grown grape wine series. Audrey Grace, Nathan John and Lauren Elizabeth, all named for Lautenbach’s grandchildren will also feature the new label style this summer.
