Organic Gardening Classes Offered at UUF

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County is hosting classes about organic gardening on three Thursdays in March from 1 – 3:30 pm. Ben Johansen will teach the classes. Johansen has an associate degree in commercial horticulture and has worked in conventional greenhouse production; organic vegetable, flower, and fruit production; and has owned and operated his own landscaping business.

The topics, with dates, are: Gardening with Intent – Vision for More Enlightened Gardening/ Quantum Horticulture (March 14); Gardening with Science – Botany for Beginners/ Chemistry for Curmudgeons (Mar. 21); and Gardening with Creativity – Designing Paradise/ Easy Ways to Make Things Easier (March 28).
