About Door County Sled Dogs

The Door County Sled Dogs’ Education/Discovery Center and Museum is truly a one-of-a-kind experience, providing guests with a variety of fun ways to learn about all breeds of dogs and how they improve our lives. In addition to meeting some very special working rescues, mostly Husky mixes, there is plenty of time to take in the many amazing exhibits throughout the museum, including several hands-on learning experiences for all ages.

Winner of the Sister Bay Best Tourist Attraction of 2018 award, this is an experience no dog lover should miss. Soft opening held over Memorial Day weekend. You can meet the entire team on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the season, and don’t forget to check for Special Events online.

Admission is $2 on Tuesdays and Fridays for all ages, Wednesdays and Saturdays (Team Days) is $10 for adults and $5 for children, 12 and under. Family 4 packs (2 adults and 2 children, 12 and under) are just $25.

The Door County Sled Dogs is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization made up of 40 rescues, all house pets, and their humans. Their mission is Saving Lives through Education.
