About Door-Tran
Since Door-Tran began as a research project in 2007 and was incorporated as a 501(c)3 in 2009, many programs have been implemented to improve mobility in Door County. Door-Tran has been able to accomplish much due to strong partnerships that have been built to ensure Door County residents are able to get where they need to go. Overall Door-Tran programs serve almost 4,000 individuals per year.
Door-Tran offers Half-Price Travel & Gas Voucher Programs, Veteran and County-Wide Volunteer Transportation Programs, and Vehicle Purchase & Repair Loan Programs. Staff provide information and referral to connect individuals to transportation service partners and the public transit system. Staff continue to track unmet needs in order to implement or expand services through collaborative efforts.
