Peninsula Flyers Host Fly-In and Drive-In
EAA Chapter 630, the Peninsula Flyers, Inc. will be hosting a Fly-In and Drive-In Pancake Breakfast on June 25 at Cherryland Airport in Sturgeon Bay. Pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee will be served from 8 – 10:30 am and the cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children.

This year’s theme is “Come Join the Fun Up Nort.” Nik Garvoille, creator of the popular “Up Nort” cartoon, which appears in the Peninsula Pulse, will serve as Grande Marshal of the Festival Parade beginning at 11 am Saturday morning, with free balloons for all.

Ephraim Celebrates 2011 Fry Bal Festival
Ephraim will celebrate their Fyr Bal Festival June 17 – 19. New activities at the 47th annual event will include amusement rides throughout the weekend in north Ephraim, waterfront Zumba at Anderson Dock at 9:30 am on Saturday, and Wilson’s Restaurant & Ice Cream Parlor’s first annual Ice Cream Eating Contest outside the restaurant at 11:30 am on Sunday.
