OVERHEARD

Are there tid-bits of conversations you’ve heard while standing in line at the grocery store, serving a table, or walking down the sidewalk that make you smile, cringe or laugh out loud?

“After listening to the ‘on-hold’ music, I do not need to go to yoga tonight.”

“Doesn’t get any better than goats, music and beer.”

“Meat is what life is made of.”

“Drinking at work has been something I’ve been missing a lot lately.”

“They put the goats on the roof?! Isn’t that dangerous?”

“It now knows! It can poop and get food here. That’s not cool.”

SHOUT OUTS

Is there someone or something that deserves a pat on the back or a slap on the wrist?

To Stacy and Erin from Meissner Landscape for carrying me from my house to the car. Nice biceps ladies!

To all dads, grandpas, brothers, uncles, godfathers, etc., who serve as good role models for future generations.

A slap on the wrist to the driver of a fancy car on Sand Bay Road. You don’t have the right to put others in danger just because your car goes fast.
