Owl Sculptures Take Center Stage at Artzy

Clarence P. Cameron, aka the “Owl Man,” will be the featured artist during an opening exhibit at Artzy Studio. His original soapstone sculptures will be on display July 24-25, 10 am – 4:30 pm.

Cameron is well known for his owl sculptures – especially his pewter cast pieces – but in 1983, he discovered the beauty in using a particular Montana-mined dendritic soapstone. He uses no power tools, and the shape of the soapstone often dictates the results.
