P.A.T.H. and Autism Support to Sponsor Walk at Crossroads

On Saturday, September 13, 2008 the public will have an opportunity to take part in building better opportunities for children with special needs here in Door County. By participating in the “All Kids Are Special Walk” you will help to ensure that services for children with special needs will continue to exist in Door County.

The walk is sponsored by Door County Eye Associates, Door County Memorial Hospital, Algoma Hardwoods, Inc, Innovative Counseling, and Quali T Inc. Proceeds from the walk will benefit P.A.T.H. Registration for the walk includes a t-shirt, lunch, children’s games, entertainment and one raffle ticket. The registration deadline is August 15, 2008.

P.A.T.H. is the only non-profit, all-volunteer organization in Door County dedicated to serving children with special needs and their families and is open to children with any type of disability. P.A.T.H. is building a caring community of families who are willing to help each other in the very difficult job of raising a child with a disability. What P.A.T.H. needs are the resources necessary to continue their work.
