Packer Film and ISIS Lecture at DCA

Door Community Auditorium (DCA) kicks off its popular winter event series Jan. 16 and 17 with a showing of the Packer fan film Extreme, Loyal, Victorious and a lecture about the threat of ISIS.

On Jan. 16 at 7 pm, DCA will present a free screening of Extreme, Loyal, Victorious. This 2011 film takes an in-depth look at the fiery enthusiasm of the Green Bay Packers fan base through the stories of some of Green Bay’s most passionate and loyal supporters. The screening of Extreme, Loyal, Victorious is free to the public, but freewill donations are encouraged.

On Jan. 17 at 9 am, DCA’s Distinguished Lecture Series will offer its first lecture of the season, titled “The ISIS Threat: The Complex War Raging in Iraq and Syria.” In the lecture, Dr. Ozum Yesiltas, visiting assistant professor of political science at St. Norbert College, will discuss the current political and humanitarian crisis in Iraq and Syria. Yesiltas’ lecture is free to the public.
