LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Parents, Not Companies, Responsible for Children

When did it become the responsibility of the CEOs of companies like Twitter, Facebook or Instagram to monitor what our kids are doing? We may not have had the internet or social media when I was growing up, but we had tobacco, alcohol and drugs. It was the responsibility of our parents to make sure we weren’t using them, not the responsibility of the tobacco or alcohol companies’ CEOs or drug lords.

Parents need to start paying attention to what their kids are doing and not blame everyone else.
