The United Nations declared Feb. 21 as International Mother Language Day to honor and preserve heritage languages. Write On is hosting a poetry reading in a variety of world languages on Feb. 21 at 7 pm at the Bertschinger Community Center, located at 7860 Highway 42 in Egg Harbor.

If interested in reading, call 920.868.1457 or email [email protected]. You may read a favorite poem originally written in the language of your choice, a favorite English language poem translated into another language, or a poem of your own creation written in a language other than English.
