Ernest and Samantha Beutel Open New Year at Meadows Gallery

The Meadows Art Gallery’s show for January is titled “Partners” and features the works of Ernest and Samantha Beutel.

The Beutels are husband and wife, and working Door County artists. Ernest’s work can range in subject and styles from representational to abstracted realism. Flights of fancy play in delightful ways with color, size and textural dimension in his works.

Samantha is new to the Door County art scene. Her subjects vary, but the sheer joy of color compels viewers to keep looking.

Both artists are honest painters and work with any media that gets the job done. Both artists have influence on each other, but both artists are unique in the way they work. This show is composed of original work as well as prints.
