Partnership Brings Sailing Camp to Egg Harbor

The Team Leadership Center, the Village of Egg Harbor and the Door County YMCA jointly announce a partnership that brings a half-day sailing camp program to the Egg Harbor Beach. Structured as an introduction to sailing for children aged 10 and up, this program will run weekly during the mornings from July 9 through August 10 and emphasize safety, fun and education.

The participants of the program will learn to sail on 14-foot X-Boats owned by the village and taught by certified sailing staff from the Team Leadership Center. The weeklong program costs $250 for YMCA members and Village residents and visitors, and $300 for the general public. Scholarships are available through the YMCA Strong Kids program.
