Door County pastel artist Carol Schalla is an exhibiting artist at the Northern Door YMCA, 3866 Gibraltar Road in Fish Creek, throughout June. You don’t need to be a member to stop by to take a look.

interpretations of the Door County vistas that inspire her: landscapes, water views and more. The archival sanded paper that she uses “grabs” the pastel fragments, resulting in intensely vibrant, lush colors. All work is double matted, framed, ready to hang and available for purchase, with 20% of the sales being donated to the YMCA.
