Pastor Nathan Lewis Heading to Milwaukee, After 10 Years in the County

Pastor Nathan Lewis, pictured with his wife Karin, had his last day of service at Prince of Peace Church in Sturgeon Bay on Dec. 29 after nearly 10 years of service. Submitted photo.

Pastor Nathan Lewis’s final day of service at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay was Dec. 29. Lewis recently accepted the position of vice president of mission advancement for the Lutheran High School Association of Greater Milwaukee.

The special service on Dec. 29 was to recognize and thank Pastor Lewis for nearly 10 years of dedicated service to Prince of Peace Church and the Sturgeon Bay community. In his 10 years of service, membership has more than doubled and the building footprint has also substantially grown. The 14,000 sq. ft. addition that opened on Easter 2008, serves not only as a worship center, but is used almost daily by community groups, concerts, coffeehouse patrons and its members.

Prince of Peace will continue services with pastors Paul Thierfelder, Brian Mitoraj and Paul Peterson.
