Patchouli Returns to Perform at UUF

National touring guitar duo Patchouli is returning this fall to Door County to play a concert at the UUF in Ephraim on Oct. 4 at 7 pm.

Patchouli was in the area in early July for the Peg Egan Folk Festival in Egg Harbor and played to a full house and had an overwhelming audience response, so they were instantly booked to come back this fall.

Featured numerous times on the Wisconsin Public Radio show “Simply Folk,” master guitarist Bruce Hecksel is considered one of the most exciting acoustic lead guitar players of our time. Teamed up with Julie Patchouli, whose crystal pure voice and dynamic percussive guitar shine, Patchouli’s sound has been described as “the harmonies of Simon & Garfunkel meet the guitar brilliance of the Gipsy Kings”.

Patchouli released Anything is Possible, their 16th album recorded together, at the beginning of 2013. Already, one of the songs from the CD won the “Songs for Trees” award and others are finding their way into commercials.

Performing their original blend of folk meets flamenco with their blazing guitars and heartstring tugging lyrics, Patchouli guarantees to make the night an uplifting one of music that will leave audience members uniquely inspired.

Tickets are $10. Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is located at 10341 Water Street in Ephraim. For more information call 920.854.7559 or visit or
