The board of directors of the Volunteer Center of Door County recently named Patrice Sebastian as executive director. Sebastian comes to the role with a wealth of experience in the nonprofit and business worlds. Most recently, she served as volunteer coordinator at the Boys and Girls Club of Door County. “As a lifelong volunteer herself, Patrice brings a true understanding of the importance of volunteering to both the individual and the community,” says board president Kevin Grohskopf of Ministry Door County Medical Center (MDCMC), a primary sponsor of the Volunteer Center.
Sebastian has a lifelong connection to Door County, making yearly summer visits as a child and then bringing her own family here. “Door County is full of people who give back. With 300 charitable organizations to work with, I am greatly looking forward to helping continue the Volunteer Center’s track record of building volunteerism in Door County.”
