Patrick Somerville Reading on Washington Island

On Saturday, June 20, noted author Patrick Somerville will present a reading from his new book, The Cradle, to the Washington Island Literary Society.

Somerville, who grew up in Green Bay and attended the University of Wisconsin, brings much of his Midwestern sensibility to The Cradle, for which he received rave reviews from the New York Times and the Washington Post. The Cradle tells a story of family and connections across time that define our lives in surprising ways, and the book was featured on the Today Show as one of this spring’s most important books to read.

Join the Washington Island Literary Society for a luncheon, reading and signing with the important young author. Reservations, including lunch, book, taxes and tip are $32. To reserve space call 920.847.2565 or email [email protected].
