Patriot Pen Contest Winners

VFW Post 9290 from Baileys Harbor and VFW post 8337 from Ellison Bay presented 10 winners with monies for their essays on “Why American Veterans Should Be Honored.” This presentation was held in the Door Community Auditorium.

The top three winners honored by VFW Post 8337 include: First Place – Josie Shabbit; Second Place – Kierra Shumway; and Third Place – Lindsey House. The top three winners honored by VFW Post 9290 include: First Place – Ashley Caldecott; Second Place – Anya Kopischke; and Third Place – Afton Greenwood.
