Patriotic Event at Peninsula State Park

Peninsula State Park welcomes Charles Dickson, who will share a recitation of the Gettysburg Address on Saturday, July 3 at 10 am at the Nature Center. The three-minute address, presented following the Battle of Gettysburg, is perhaps President Lincoln’s most famous speech. The presentation will include a flag raising.

Families will then have the option to participate in a patriotic bear hunt. These programs are free and open to the public, though donations are appreciated. For more information call the White Cedar Nature Center at 920.854.5976.
