PBS Wisconsin’s newest documentary “Wisconsin’s Scenic Treasures: Northwoods,” is a four-season exploration of the state’s northern forests, lakes, parks and natural areas. Filmed by PBS Wisconsin from the land, water and air, the documentary showcases state parks, natural areas, wildlife areas and forests, many of them held in trust and managed by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The documentary highlights the visual and ecological diversity of Wisconsin’s northern natural landscapes and rich scenic heritage.
“Wisconsin’s Scenic Treasures: Northwoods” premieres 7 pm, Nov. 28 on PBS Wisconsin. The program will also be available to stream at pbswisconsin.org/watch/wisconsins-scenic-treasures/ and on the free PBS video app on all streaming devices and Smart TVs shortly after broadcast.
