Peak Colors for Fall 50

Participants in the Fall 50 will have a backdrop of peak fall colors when they take to Door County roads on Oct. 22.

The course starts at the northern tip of the Door Peninsula at Gills Rock. The course travels south primarily on back roads along the western shoreline and passes through many villages and towns before reaching Sturgeon Bay.

The Fall 50 has a wave start. All solo runners will start at 7 am while the relay teams will start in waves each hour between 8 am and 10 am.

The finish line celebration begins at 1 pm at Sunset Park in Sturgeon Bay beneath a massive tent. A DJ will play music and announcing the names of finishers for the friends, family, teammates and competitors waiting beneath the tent. The finish line buffet will include beer, soda, and pizza. Admission to the party tent is free of charge to participants. Family and friends may enter the tent for a fee: $20 for adults, $10 for children ages 7-17, and free for children ages 6 and under.
