Pearl Harbor Remembrance in Sturgeon Bay

Be a part of history as Wisconsin’s only official U.S. Coast Guard City presents its inaugural Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony along Sturgeon Bay’s West Waterfront promenade.

The Sturgeon Bay Fire and Police Department’s will have a joint color guard, a U.S. Coast Guard Honor Guard will ring eight bells and float a remembrance wreath. There will also be a moment of silence, a rifle salute, taps, patriotic music, sounding of General Quarters and a ship’s whistle salute.

The memorial and moment of silence takes place at 11:55 am, 7:55 am Honolulu time, exactly 81 years to the moment when the attack began. All three U.S. Coast Guard commands in Sturgeon Bay will have additional personnel in formation on the pier for the event.
