“Pedals, Pipes and Preludes” Organ Workshop at Shepherd of the Bay

A workshop for church organists will be held Nov. 23 from 9 – 11:30 am at Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church in Ellison Bay.

Entitled “Pedals, Pipes, and Preludes” it is designed for those who currently play the organ as well as pianists interested in developing organ skills. The workshop is divided into three sessions: (1) Expand Organ Skills for Leading Congregational Singing of Hymns, Songs, and Liturgy, (2) Explore Appealing Organ Repertoire for Preludes and Postludes, and (3) Exchange Helpful Hints in a Q&A Session.

The workshop clinician will be Naomi Rowley, principal organist at Shepherd of the Bay and an experienced workshop clinician and teacher. For registration forms and additional information, call 839.2444 or 854.2988. Registration deadline is Nov. 18.
