Pen Players Discuss Shakespeare’s Greatest Disputes

Peninsula Players Theatre’s series of free public seminars will conclude October 15 when cast members from the current production of God of Carnage, Joe Foust, Maggie Carney, Karen Janes Woditsch and Kevin McKillip, will host “No Holds Bard – Great Shakespearean Domestic Disputes” from 2:30 – 4 pm in the rehearsal hall. Inspired by the comedic conflicts in God of Carnage, the program will present great Shakespeare scenes of arguments and altercations.

Fast, furious and very funny God of Carnage is a comedy of forgotten manners. Two sets of contemporary savvy parents meet to politely discuss the playground brawl their boys were in. The fine veneer of sophistication quickly cracks and their evening spirals into chaos and a hilariously uncivilized free-for-all.

The seminar is free to the public. Advance reservations are required, as space is limited to 50 people. For more information or to make reservations call 920.868.3287.

The Peninsula Players perform Tuesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 pm and wraps up the season on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 4 pm. Discount tickets are available for groups of 15 or more. Individual tickets and gift certificates to the 2012 season are also available. Individual ticket prices range from $32 to $38.
