PenArt Features Stone in Opening Exhibit

The first exhibit of Peninsula School of Art’s 2018 summer season, Mining Creativity: Works in Stone, displays the possibilities of carving out beauty from stone. In pieces that range from tabletop sculpture to jewelry, artists from throughout the United States and Wisconsin alter and assemble an array of minerals including river rock, Indiana limestone, marble and semi-precious stones.

Mining Creativity: Works in Stone runs May 11 – July 14. PenArt is open 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Saturday. Peninsula School of Art is located at 3900 Cty F, Fish Creek.
