Peninsula Chamber Singers Present Christmas Concert

The harmonious voices of the Peninsula Chamber Singers (PCS) will present their 2009 Christmas Concert series entitled, “The Many Moods of Christmas,” on Dec. 12 and 13.

During the concert, PCS, a 70-person mixed voice chorus, will perform spiritual and sacred music and popular Christmas songs. Invited guests this year include: The New Day Singers, comprised of singers from PCS and Madrigal Musica – a madrigal singing group from the Gibraltar High School. The PCS are directed by Merle Colburn, with accompanist, David Beck.

The public is invited to join the PCS for their concerts on Saturday, Dec. 12 at the United Methodist Church in Sturgeon Bay at 7 pm, and Sunday, Dec. 13 at Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek at 3 pm. The concerts are free to the public; donations support the chorus and are tax deductible. All those that attend the Saturday evening performance are cordially invited to join the singers for refreshments after the concert, offered as a fundraiser by the youth group of the United Methodist Church.
