Peninsula Music Festival Welcomes First Female Conductor in August

The 61st season of the Peninsula Music Festival will run Aug. 6 – 24 with nine different symphonic concerts every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Tuesday and Thursday concerts begin at 8 pm and Saturday concerts are at 6:30 pm at the Door Community Auditorium.

The nine concerts feature the full orchestra along with a featured guest artist. Two concerts will have a guest conductor, including the first-ever female conductor (JoAnn Falletta) on the podium of the Peninsula Music Festival.

Nine concert subscriptions and single tickets for all concerts are on sale now. Tickets start at $30, with children and student tickets just $10. A limited amount of $150 and $200 subscriptions for all nine concerts are still available.
